A TRIBUTE TO ANN By Henry Pulsifer Ann is the most incredible women I have ever known. Jesus has always been The Sun in my life, but she brought His Sunshine to me in a new and fresh way everyday with her smile. That’s because He was The Sun in her life long before she met me. She was an incredible cook, avid fisherman, and had the greenest thumb I’ve ever known. She could cook almost any type of food. American, Italian, Asian, Cajun, Mexican; she made them all. If you were fishing with her, she would almost always catch the most and biggest fish. She could make almost any leaf or stick grow, and her garden’s usually produced the most abundant, best tasting and biggest vegetables and fruit. She was truly a remarkable lady. The most outstanding thing about her was her love for Jesus. Because of her love for Him she loved people. Most people knew it the minute they met her. She was a wonderful mother to our three children Ruth, Paul, & Joy. There lives are a reflection of her influence. Not only that, but she was a mother figure and friend to many of the people we met as we traveled to different parts of the world. Those who had been abandoned, wounded, and hurt by this life, found a visible expression of the love of God when they met her. This is a ministry she has passed on to her daughter Joy in Nicaragua. A woman of prayer; she would stay up late at night to pray for the people she knew, and for those she heard about who were suffering or in need. Not only was she my wife, she was also my right arm, and partner in ministry. She was there to assist, advise, and encourage me in the call God has given me. In the good times and bad, she stood with me in my journey to know The Kingdom, and spread the love of Jesus to others. The video you are about to see is a labor of love by my son Paul with the help of the rest of the family. It shows a small part of her amazing life. If a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s a few million. If she was physically present right now, she would say, “I spent my life loving Jesus and serving Him. It was worth it all. I hope you love Him the way I do.” Click here to view a video of her life. |
A Poem to Ann by Tammy Pulsifer As she closed her eyes in slumber to the only world she knew. She dreamed of final lasting peace and only thought of you. Tired from the journey, she took her resting place Knowing the next time she opened her eyes, she’d see you face to face. Resting in sweet assurance fighting for life no more, She passed through Gates of Splendor and said, ”This is what I have been waiting for.” |
